Is Folio really free?
Yes. The current tools and PDF downloads are free, with no account, watermark or payment step.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Document processing happens in your browser. The website and its software assets are downloaded to your device; your PDF contents are not sent to a document-processing server.
Can I come back to an unfinished edit?
Download a copy before closing or refreshing the tab. Folio does not keep an online document library. Added text boxes and form fields stay editable unless you flatten them when exporting.
Does it have every Acrobat feature?
No. Folio provides common PDF editing tasks. It does not include automatic paragraph reflow, layout-preserving Office conversion, certificate signing, XFA support or print-production preflight.
