About this viewer & supported drawings
Built for a quick 2D view. DWG files are read locally with LibreDWG. ASCII DXF drawings use a dedicated background parser. Geometry is grouped for efficient graphics rendering, and the viewer redraws only when the view changes.
Compatibility: model-space lines, arcs, circles, polylines, blocks, text and supported hatches. This is a preview, not a full AutoCAD replacement. Paper-space layouts, external references, embedded images, 3D solids and custom/proxy objects are not fully supported. Fonts, line styles and dimensions can differ from the original. Binary DXF should be re-exported as ASCII DXF.
Measurements: distances use the drawing's units and the points you click, without object snapping. Check exact dimensions in the source CAD application. File complexity, your device and the first download of the DWG engine affect speed.
Controls: drag to pan; wheel or pinch to zoom; F to fit; Escape to cancel loading or measuring. Layer switches control visibility. Save image exports the current view as a PNG.
